These are printed on edible wafer/rice paper using edible ink.
(Please note: the colour is a fushia pink and is darker than shown in the photo. Unfortunately I am no photographer and cant quite capture the true colour of them)
The paper I use has a use by date of over one year however I would advise using within six months of purchase.
